The Housing Authority of Racine County will be closing the waiting list for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, Friday, January 20, 2012 at 3:30 PM at the offices of the Housing Authority of Racine County located at 837 Main Street, Racine, Wisconsin. No applications will be taken after that time and until further notice.

A government issued picture ID is required in order to complete an application.

Public Notice: The waiting list for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program will open on January 17, 2012. Applications will be taken between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at the offices of the Housing Authority of Racine County located at 837 Main Street, Racine, Wisconsin. A government issued picture ID is required in order to complete an application.

The Housing Authority of Racine County will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2012 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Our offices will open again on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The waiting list is currently closed and we are not accepting applications for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. The waiting list will reopen in 2012. Date, time, and details will be posted in the Racine Journal Times under the Public Notice section.
