AssistanceCheck being eliminated

AssistanceCheck will no longer be used after 10/31/21. Please communicate with your Housing Specialist for any changes. We are also implementing a new e-signature feature called BlueInk, which is compatible with any computer or mobile device, to make sending/receiving documents easier and more efficient. If you are a Owner/Manager who will need a breakdown of your HAP direct deposit, please contact Mateo Kozomara at MKozomara@rcha.org to request a breakdown via USPS mail. In early 2022 we plan to transition to a new, more efficient software, that will again provide a web portal. Thanks for your patience!

Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)

The Housing Authority of Racine County is required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to share this information with all adult members of Section 8 Program households.  This notice is being mailed to Housing Choice Voucher Program participants, both tenant and project based, and public housing tenants.  This material includes information regarding victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking and the law protecting them through the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
